Sadly, this is now an Ace Hardware! The Commander now serves breakfast - but not many other breakfast options within Breezy Point.

A good, old-timey diner deal. I have had a few breakfasts here and have been satisfied each visit. They do a little breakfast buffet that isn't too bad considering it's only eight bucks. As there is no Perkins, Denny's or similar chain near by, this is one of the few options in the neighborhood to get a standard breakfast deal that isn't labeled "Deli Express"... and since it's attached to a gas station, you can walk 20 feet and do the microwave meal if that's what you prefer. Service is good, food isn't bad and as long as it's not the height of tourist season, you should get your meal quickly. Definitely A-OK.

Food is good but very over-priced! A cup of coffee is $2.25 (I believe). Now that's terrible! A full breakfast meal runs about $10/person. Eggs, potatoes and coffee aren't that costly

I've driven by here 50 times, but finally stopped for breakfast yesterday. Glad we did! Perfect greasy spoon breakfast. All the basics plus outstanding caramel rolls. The service is pleasant and good.

Most tourists overlook this restaurant which is attached to the BP gas station and bait shop which is a big mistake. This place is filled with locals so you know they are doing something right. Grab a seat at the lunch counter or a booth at this traditional diner and enjoy the classic breakfast and lunch options that are prepared with fresh ingredients and cooked up to perfection. They offer a breakfast brunch buffet on Sunday which is half the cost of the brunches offered by surrounding restaurants/resorts and twice as delicious. The fresh baked caramel and cinnamon rolls alone are worth stopping for. They also offer a salad bar and taco bar some days which is a great inexpensive alternative for a weekday lunch when you are up at the lake with the family. The only downside is that the operating hours are very limited, but that might be their secret to keeping the staff so friendly and helpful.

Food is great and I've always had great service at this little hidden gem! If your looking for ambiance, this isn't your joint. If your looking for great food and great value, stop in!!! You'll be pleasantly surprised.

We eat here often, and I decided its time for me to do a review. Breakfast here is always perfect! Even when they are very busy, the food comes out quickly, hot, and delicious. If I gave breakfast a rating, it would be 6 stars out of 5 :). If you're a French toast fan, you need to try theirs- it's unique and awesome. The lunch/dinner here is meh. I much prefer their breakfast to any other meal here.
